Andrew Bequette

Andrew Bequette was born in Danville and grew up in Mt. Zion. He graduated from Mt. Zion High School, and obtained his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Illinois. He began practicing law in 2001 and is currently a shareholder at Beckett Law Office, which has offices in Urbana and Tuscola.
Andrew focuses his practice in municipal law, guardianships, personal injury, real estate transactions, and civil litigation. At one point or another, Andrew has represented all but one of Douglas County’s villages and cities. Since 2008, he has also been an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois College of Law, acting as director of the College’s Federal Civil Rights Clinic.
Andrew is a member of First United Methodist Church of Champaign and the Tuscola Rotary. He also serves on the board of Land of Lincoln Legal Aid and Cunningham Children’s Home’s Asset Management Committee. Each summer he spends a week as a counselor at the Baby Fold Camp at East Bay Camp in Hudson, Illinois.
